To donors, brothers, and Sigma Chi,

By awarding me the Founder Benjamin Piatt Runkle Academic Scholarship, you have lightened my financial burden, which allows me to focus more on the most important aspect of school: learning. Your generosity has inspired me to help others and give back to the community. I hope one day I will be able to help students achieve their goals just as you have helped me.

Being a brother at Sigma Chi, especially as an Asian American, has been one of the most unique, inspiring, and life-changing experiences. This scholarship will allow me to focus on my academics and career path, and of course, to solidify my relationships with my brothers and the chapter at large. Given my socioeconomic background, the financial burden has always been a challenge. I very much look forward to what the future holds: for my brothers, the chapter at Yale, and the brotherhood at large.
