My Testimonial
This scholarship will assist in my education by relieveing the huge amount of stress I have of paying bills. My mind will be more clear to be able to focus on studying for school instead of picking up more shifts at my work. Sigma Chi's values have changed how I act in my everyday actions. Every day I strive to improve myself, whether it is having a more efficient day at work or hitting new personal records at the gym. Being a Sigma Chi, I know I have a greater responsibility to act professional and in a respectable manner in all my interactions. Additionally, I try my best to teach Sigma Chi's values to others around my like my siblings, co-workers, and classmates. I want to give a huge shoutout to the generous donors that make this scholarship possible. I recently moved out and and no longer recieve financial support from my parents. These couple of weeks have been rough having to work long hours and put in the study hours for my upper division classes. When I saw the email saying I have been awarded this scholarship my day was made. I received the email the day before my 21st birthday so this is definitely the best birthday present I could have asked for. In the future I will ensure I am also a donor to scholarships like these. Again thank you and like always I am proud to be a Sigma Chi.
