My Testimonial

I want to start off with thanking the donors and alumni who helped make this scholarship available. You guys do so much for the young adults growing up in the Sigma Chi name. You open doors that wouldn't have otherwise been available. Next I want to tell you how this scholarship will help my situation. One of the best parts about receiving this is that it wont just help me but it will help my parents even more. They put in so much work to put me through school and I appreciate that. It helps me by allowing me to focus on my school and not on money while I am here. The job I have at school helps a little bit with keeping me afloat but this goes above and beyond. Finally, I want to finish with how the Sigma Chi values have shaped me. They have shown me how to be a good man. It is as easy as that. I get to watch my older brothers and I get to learn from them. I get to talk with my alumni and learn about their experiences. I get to make connections with high minded individuals that I would have never had the opportunity to before. Overall, Sigma Chi has been one of the most positive experiences in my life and there is still a lot more to come.
