My Testimonial

Thank you so much, I am truly honored and grateful that I was selected to receive the Marvin D. “Swede” Johnson Memorial Epsilon Theta Academic Scholarship. This scholarship will allow me to further my education and strive for success in my academic career at San Jose State University. With this generous gift, some of the financial pressure that comes with college has now been relieved. This now motivates me to work even harder in my academic career to strive for even greater things during my time in college. Although I've only been a member of Sigma Chi for a short time, I can already tell that I am making great strides and have grown as an individual and a leader. Sigma Chi has shaped me and many others within the fraternity to become young leaders, which I believe is a core trait that a person needs to have in order to be successful during their lifetime. Through the values that I've been taught during my time here at Sigma Chi, I've become a greater man. These values will help me tremendously on my path to success in the real world. Once again I would like to give a huge thank you to the generous donors that made the scholarship possible as well as selecting me as a recipient of this award.
