My Testimonial

Thank you so much, I am very pleased to hear I received this scholarship! This is extra meaningful to receive a scholarship from Sigma Chi because of my dad and my families connection to Sigma Chi. My father was recently in San Diego when my pledge class did the official initiation, so getting pinned by him was one of the most amazing moments of my life. All semester I have been job searching for restaurant serving positions, and it has been pretty difficult to secure the job thus far. Now I can feel more comfortable knowing that I earned this scholarship and the funds aren't looking as tight. My family is extremely proud of me, and overall I just feel very proud of myself for succeeding. After receiving the news, I felt like this has become a new motivation of mine. If I could succeed at this, I can succeed at: securing that job, striving more in school, and even just overall a more abundant outlook at life. I can't say how grateful I am enough to the donors for allowing me to receive this scholarship. Moving forward I will channel this great feeling into the harder areas in my life, but also in helping others in my chapter try to earn a scholarship as well.
