My Testimonial

First and foremost, I am so thankful to all of the donors for their generous contributions to the Sigma Chi Foundation that allow me to receive this scholarship. Recently, at the beginning of this year, my mother had lost her job at an establishment she had been employed at for 20 years. This not only affected her but also the rest of my family. With her not working, and my father having recently had surgery causing him to miss work, I took it upon myself to help my parents in any way that I could financially. As much as I would do anything to make sure my parents are okay, it still affected me negatively. Luckily, my scholarships at school are sufficient enough that I do not have to pay full tuition, however, there are still costs that come from my pockets. This scholarship was the biggest blessing because it is making sure that I will not be down too deep when it comes to tuition. With all of that being said, I can not express enough how thankful I am for this scholarship.
