This scholarship allows me to focus less on how I am going to be able to purchase my academic materials, and more on how and what I am going to learn from them. Sigma Chi has helped develop myself beyond what I ever thought a Fraternity would do. Sigma Chi is not just a Fraternity, it is a premier leadership organization. The educational programs and potential reinforces the statement "Men join Fraternities, Leaders of Men join Sigma Chi". The amazing support of SCLI and the Sigma Chi Foundation shows that people care about our wellbeing as students and want us to succeed, and the scholarships and other programming they provide re-enforce that.
