My Testimonial

The University of Oxford - WOW! It is still such a surreal experience considering where I come from.

I could not have ever dreamed of achieving such lofty aspirations without the guidance and brotherhood of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Prior to joining this brotherhood of leaders of men, I was a child distracted by common temptations and an unfocused outlook on my life goals. I am ever so grateful for the brothers of Lambda Xi Chapter to have taken a chance on me all those years ago and I work hard every day to honor their trust in extending me a bid for pledge-ship. Sigma Chi gave me the foundation of which to build a legacy of honorable goals, scholastic and business successes, and some of the deepest brotherly friendships that have served as my guiding lights in the toughest times (and not to mention some of the most fun memories and experiences of my life)!

Practically speaking, this scholarship will help me allocate more funds to attend MBA business treks to tour and network with some of the most innovative companies around the world. The experiential and international nature of the Oxford MBA is a compelling factor that set it apart for me, but with that comes expenses that the school can not cover.

That being said, I am ever so grateful to the Sigma Chi Foundation for selecting me to receive a Kirt Jacobs Family Media, Arts, & Communications Graduate Scholarship.
