I feel incredibly grateful to have been chosen to receive this scholarship from the Sigma Chi Foundation. It has always been my dream to attend medical school. Since this can be expensive, receiving some financial assistance through this scholarship is a great relief. Knowing that I have to worry a bit less about saving up money for applications to medical school is a small burden lifted from me. This makes it much easier for me to focus on my education. Sigma Chi's values have been instrumental in shaping me both as a person and as a student. The Core Values of High Ambition, Integrity, and Fidelity have helped me stay true to myself, shape my habits and dreams, and pursue my dreams to their fullest extent. Once again, I am extremely grateful to receive this honor, and I would like to thank the generous donors to the Sigma Chi Foundation for making this a possibility.
