My Testimonial

This scholarship will help assist my education by allowing me to purchase books and materials needed for my courses. Because my dad has to pay for four college tuition, these scholarships offer some financial relief along with expressing my dedication to academics and Sigma Chi. Sigma Chi's seven core values have impacted my life by providing values to live up to and become a leader. Since going through the process of pledge-ship, I found it very resounding to have many of my values align with an organization. Since then, I have used the seven core values to improve myself to become a better individual and leader. I was inspired by these shared values to be a part of something great, like joining Sigma Chi and being a philanthropy chair. Taking on an exec position took a lot of courage, especially with a significant position like Philanthropy. However, I was able to lead by example and inspire others to follow in my footsteps. Sigma Chi's values allowed me to expand on my shared individual values and become the man I strive to become. I hope to apply these values to my future endeavors so that, one day, I'll become the man I have always been inspired to be.
I have been so proud to be a Sigma Chi since the day I got initiated in my freshmen year. It still amazes me how many opportunities Sigma Chi offers especially with scholarships. I can't thank the generous donors enough for allowing me and many others to have this amazing opportunity.
