My Testimonial

This scholarship will greatly benefit my educational journey with help attaining expensive textbooks while I study abroad in London this fall. Accepting this award will further promote my high-minded endeavors to gain a broader social-cultural lens in the UCEAP program. Using the seven founders as role models and engraining the themes of friendship, justice, and learning into my character and goals are healthy habits to expect more out of myself by consistently creating positive ripple effects throughout the world. For example, my interactions with the public during my beach lifeguarding gig promotes public safety of the community to fulfill my first responder mission of helping others. Horizon's greatly complemented Sigma Chi's impact on my life, as my five essential values, life planning map, and leadership commitments are steadfast throughout my lived experience. On behalf of all the recipients who gratefully received this honor, I am very thankful for this scholarship. My academic goals and career aims are renewed with increased motivation and passion. I cannot wait to make all Sigma Chi's similarly inspired by my life and hopefully selflessly donate for the betterment of the next generation in a similar capacity. As my senior year is soon upon me, I look forward to leaving a lasting impact on my chapter and staying connected to the high potential of all my brothers.
