I am honored to be a returning recipient of the Sigma Chi Fraternity scholarship. Having accepted this scholarship, I am given the assistance I need in completing my degree as a Civil Engineer at San Diego State University. The Delta Xi chapter of Sigma Chi at SDSU has given me the connections I need to thrive in my field of study and has given me the financial assistance I need as I am responsible to pay a portion of my school tuition. As a student working multiple jobs to cover my financial needs, Sigma Chi's scholarship program has helped me where SDSU's financial assistance could not. As a student of fair ability, I am obligated to complete my courses with high academic standing so as to continue receiving scholarships such as this.
