My Testimonial

First and foremost, I am extremely grateful to have received this Alpha Gamma - Bell Chapter Scholarship. Sigma Chi has already done so much for me as a person, and I can't put into words how lucky I am to have such a supportive chapter and organization. This scholarship will first help provide for my education, where I am pursuing a four-year dual business and engineering degree with honors distinction. Secondly, it will also aid my family in helping my two younger brothers realize their dreams of attending college and becoming Sigma Chi's themselves, continuing the legacy that began with my father.

As a person, I have seen myself grow in unprecedented ways since I attended my very first rush event. Having such a diverse group of friends, I'm much more comfortable to show who I am without fear of being judged. Being surrounded by such great leaders within the fraternity, I now feel more confident in my own leadership skills in my endeavors both inside and outside of Sigma Chi. Additionally, as part of such a long-standing organization, I have been prompted to look internally and reflect on the man I am and the legacy I want to leave, which has helped in guiding my day-to-day actions and beliefs. Ultimately, I cannot thank Sigma Chi's generous donors enough for this scholarship, and wish you could have heard how excited my father was when I called him to share the news.
