I am very honored to receive the Sigma Chi Dr. Ravi D. Goel, M.D. Medical Graduate Scholarship. This award is a tremendous encouragement as I begin my journey as a physician at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. I am deeply grateful for the recognition and the support it represents from the Sigma Chi Fraternity. The opportunities for leadership and brotherhood I gained from Sigma Chi were instrumental in my formation as an undergraduate and as a person. I am proud to carry those experiences with me to my graduate education. I am incredibly thankful for Dr. Goel’s support and hope that I can carry on his legacy of excellence in medicine and dedication to service. This scholarship will not only help alleviate the financial burden of medical school but also motivate me to strive for academic and professional excellence. As I continue out into graduate education with a goal of serving others, I am so grateful to have my brothers supporting me every step of the way.
