My Testimonial

I am beyond grateful to the generous donors of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, both at the level of my Beta Lambda chapter, and at the level of the national fraternity, for making this opportunity possible for me. This scholarship will immensely help me finish achieving my educational goals in my senior year of college and graduate with a bachelor's degree in Economics from Duke University. I have given so much of my time to bettering my chapter over the last three years, and this scholarship will enable me to keep doing so without having to worry about how to meet the financial needs of my educational journey. The values of Sigma Chi have left a permanent, positive mark on me, notably in helping me develop integrity, fuel my high ambitions, and grow my wisdom. My favorite activity that I've done as a brother in Sigma Chi has been coordinating our fundraising efforts for the Huntsman Cancer Foundation. This scholarship will enable me to dedicate even more time to these efforts during my senior year instead of worrying about how to pay for my education. I am so thankful that the donors of Sigma Chi were able to give back to me, and look forward to giving back to my community not just during my senior year with my efforts raising money for the Huntsman Cancer Foundation, but also in the many years to come as an alumnus.
