My Testimonial

I am incredibly honored to be the recipient of the L. Wayne Tucker Memorial Academic Scholarship. The financial support provided by this scholarship will allow me to focus more on my studies and less on the financial burdens that often face collegiate students. The opportunity provided by the Sigma Chi Foundation is one that I do not take lightly because it will help me to achieve my academic and career goals with a greater sense of ease, and a new sense of determination.
The values of Friendship, Justice, and Learning, which Sigma Chi has deeply instilled in me, has significantly shaped me into the man I am today. These values have further helped me to develop my sense of integrity, staying true and honest, and keeping good moral about me even if I may be alone. Furthermore, my sense of high-ambition has excelled from self ambition to an ambition to help the world. This was recently instilled in me by Horizons, and I've set my goals on loftier aspirations. My commitment to the ideals and values of Sigma Chi, and the emphasis on living a life full of purpose and honor, sits deeply with me. Being a brother of Sigma Chi has been more than just a college experience for me, it has truly been a transformative endeavor that will be evident in my life to come.
I would like to extend my generous thanks to the gracious donors who have helped to make this scholarship possible. I express my deep gratitude to all of the brothers of Sigma Chi who have made not only this scholarship possible, but all Sigma Chi Foundation scholarships. The support from brothers for this scholarship is not simply a financial contribution to a foundation, but a meaningful investment into my future.
