My Testimonial
The Sigma Chi Foundation, has provided me with an immense opportunity to help focus my drive into my studies this academic school year. First, I'd like to thank all the donors across the nation who provided me with the opportunity to accept this award. Sigma Chi is everything to me. This summer, I had the opportunity to attend the Horizons Leadership Summit in Snowbird Utah. During this time, I took a deep dive within my values, with this Scholarship I have the ability to express fidelity to the fraternity even more, and give back some of my saved time to my chapter. This upcoming December, I plan to run to be the Consul of the Beta Theta Chapter and am currently acting as Pro-Consul at this time. Working with brothers Andrew Stott, and Chris Lastrapes it has opened my eyes to how to implement enduring leadership into my chapter. Again, without this Scholarship I would need to work many more hours and would not have as much time to focus and put good work into the chapter, as I will be able to now. I'm currently looking to make derby days more effective on my campus, and expanding our community service efforts within the city of Pittsburgh. Along with my fraternal efforts, I am committed to staying on the deans list these upcoming semesters as I have achieved that honor multiple times here at Pitt. I am hoping to start research in the detriment of media on the adolescent mind at some point in my career and hope to continue well in my studies. With that said, I'm fully committed to bringing honor to the badge of Sigma Chi, and aspiring to be the best man I can be. Thank you to everyone in Sigma Chi who made this chance possible.
In Hoc,
