My Testimonial
As I enter into my final year of college at the beloved Indiana University in Bloomington, I can only begin to think of all of my favorite experiences. The primary experience that has shaped me into the man I am today is without a doubt the Lambda Chapter of Sigma Chi. Specifically, becoming versed in the culture that all Sigma Chi's foster has helped me grow into a young adult navigating his future. The values that we learn as new members are instilled for a greater purpose in our houses, our academic environments, and most importantly the greater community. I am forever grateful to the generous donors that helped make the Bell Chapter Scholarship possible, in the loving memory of James & Connie Bash. Thank you to the Foundation Board of Governors for selecting me - a once naive freshman who became a leader on his campus - for this great honor. Finally, I am so grateful to the faculty of Sigma Chi and specifically Ansley Valentine (the Lambda Chapter Advisor) for his unconditional support, gracious presence, and amazing friendliness. Thank you for the guidance and advice, I'm always going to hold a special place in my heart for Sigma Chi. As I look ahead to my senior year, I'm ecstatic to put forth the resources made available by this scholarship to study abroad in Seoul, South Korea at SungKyunKwan University. Though I'm going to miss my brothers back home, I know they'll be cheering for me every step of the way.
