My Testimonial

I am truly honored to be selected as a recipient of the Alpha Omega Chapter Academic Scholarship. This award will greatly assist me in continuing my education at UC Merced by easing some of the financial burden of tuition and allowing me to focus more fully on my academics, leadership, and service. Balancing my studies in Cognitive Science and Economics with my responsibilities as Pro Consul and Recruitment Chair of Sigma Chi has been both challenging and rewarding, and this scholarship provides much needed support to continue excelling in all areas. Sigma Chi’s values have profoundly shaped who I am today. Through living the Jordan Standard and embracing the ideals of friendship, justice, and learning, I have grown not only as a student but also as a leader and as a man of character. My involvement in programs like Horizons and the Krach Transformational Leaders Workshop has taught me the importance of accountability, integrity, and leadership, qualities that I strive to bring into every part of my life, whether in my chapter, in student government, or in my community. This scholarship is more than financial support. It is a reminder of the lasting impact Sigma Chi has through its alumni and the brotherhood we share across generations. Knowing that alumni brothers invest in our success motivates me to uphold our values and one day give back in the same way. I am deeply grateful for your generosity and for your belief in the potential of brothers like myself.
