Significant Sig Award

The Significant Sig Award recognizes those alumni members whose exemplary efforts and achievements have positioned them at the highest levels of their fields of endeavor have brought great honor and prestige to the name of Sigma Chi. Although all Sigma Chi brothers aspire to achieve greatness in their individual lives and professions, the Significant Sig Selection Committee can only recommend those brothers who have brought honor and prestige to the name of Sigma Chi by continuously achieving new heights of success and innovation within their profession or industry.

The honor of being selected as a Significant Sig is a distinction that few achieve as Sigma Chi has only recognized 2378 brothers, which is less than one percent (1%) of the membership since the award's introduction at the 1935 Grand Chapter. Living brothers from every profession are eligible to be recognized so we hope that you will take the time to nominate a deserving brother that you may know.
