Undergraduate Scholarships

 2025-2026 SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Applications for the 2025-2026 academic year will be available February 2025 - exact date TBD. Please contact scholarship administrator, Heidi Holley, heidi.holley@sigmachi.org or (847) 425-4470 for further information.

Select the scholarship to which you would like to apply. You will be asked to verify the scholarship selection once you have started the application process. 

Notification to applicants with a completed and submitted application will take place August 2025 - exact date TBD. All applicants with a submitted application will receive an e-mail with the status of their application.

Undergraduate Scholarships

General Undergraduate Scholarship / Founders' / Bell Chapter Challenge / Donor-Scholar

This scholarship provides a minimum $1,000* academic scholarship to a qualified Sigma Chi pursuing an undergraduate degreee in any academic field. A completed undergraduate application is automatically considered for applicable Founders', Bell Chapter, and donor-scholar awards. Qualified applicants selected as recipients may only receive one Foundation scholarship per academic year.

Chapter Sweetheart Scholarship

This scholarship is provided through the generous support of 21st International Sweetheart Dr. Jacqueline Dupont Carlson. Provides a minimum $1,000* academic scholarship to a qualified Sweetheart of a Sigma Chi undergraduate chapter. Sigma Chi Sweethearts who have committed to graduate or similar secondary studies commencing fall 2025 may now apply for a Chapter Sweetheart scholarship.

Additional Scholarships

Military Service Scholarship

This scholarship award was established through the generous support of Brothers John G. Berylson, BROWN 1975 and Daniel P. Walsh, SOUTHEAST MISSOURI 1971 and other Sigma Chi brothers. Provides a minimum $1,000* academic scholarship to undergraduate or graduate Sigma Chi brothers who are currently serving or have served on active duty in their country's military—Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, or National Guard. Cumulative GPA of 2.5 out of a 4.0 scale required.

Brothers Helping Brothers Scholarship

Scholarships are available to undergraduate and graduate brothers who have been adversely affected by hardship, such as long-term unemployment, illness, or the effects of a natural disaster. The Brothers Helping Brothers Scholarship Award provides academic scholarships, in varying amounts, to qualified Sigma Chi brothers; the Brothers Helping Brothers application is available year-round.

Two letters of support are required for applicants applying for Sigma Chi’s Brothers Helping Brothers academic scholarship. The letters of support should come from someone who is not a family member but is able to confirm the circumstances for your request. Chapter advisors, house corporation officers, or employers are all good choices.
